With a BFA from the University of Wisconsin\u2013Eau Claire and extensive hands-on HR training in the areas of employment law, recruitment, compensation, benefits, and labor relations, Kristine brings both academic and applied expertise to her role as a Professional Development Counselor for J-9.<\/span><\/div>\n

As a former Case Manager for the Wisconsin Works (W2) program with Forward Service Corporation, Kristine has supported individuals in crisis with often significant and complex barriers to employment\u2014including generational poverty, limited education, housing and food insecurity, trauma, domestic violence, sexual assault and trafficking, mental and physical health conditions, diverse learning needs, refugee status, substance use disorders, and justice involvement.<\/span><\/div>\n

As a First Sergeant and Uniformed Readiness Coordinator, he supported the personal, professional, and family readiness of hundreds of service members, guiding them through deployments, career transitions, and major life milestones.<\/span><\/div>\n

Kale has extensive experience in transition support and professional development. As a Transition Coordinator, he assisted service members in identifying transferable skills, navigating SkillBridge opportunities, understanding benefits and resources, and completing the Transition Assistance Program (TAP). His commitment to empowering service members is rooted in decades of hands-on mentorship and coaching across all ranks and backgrounds.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Kale is also a seasoned instructor and faculty advisor, having taught leadership, ethics, professional communication, and history for service members across all branches of the Department of War at the College of Enlisted Military Education.
