An employer is trying to answer three things in their mind during the interview:
Do they like you?
Would you get along and fit in with their organization?
Can you do the job?
Prepare for the Interview:

• Conduct a route recon before the interview (do not be late)
• Take the earliest interview time.
• No cologne or perfume!
• Take a minimum of five resumes and at least three references. Place in a portfolio or small binder.
• Use interviewers names
• Listen more than you talk
• Have 2-3 questions to ask (do not ask questions if the answer is on the website)
• Don’t ask about salary or benefits!
• Know 2-3 things about the company that’s not common knowledge.
• Have a couple of things you could do for them.
• Eye contact, handshake.
• Always send a Thank-you!

Resumes:

Objective: Position applying for and name of company.
Highlights: All your best stuff (relevant).
Other Skills: Any that would complement the job or company, but not over qualify you.
